I was wondering if anyone else was enjoying the Quote of the Day thread? I get laughing pretty hard sometimes, and other times it really sobers me up and gets me thinking. It really is good to be a Christian and filter everything through the Word and the nuggets of truth remain if there was any to begin with.

How's the Mega PC Build going Robby?
----------------------------------------Have you drawn blood yet? You know it's going to be a good 'un if you end up with a good slash in the end of your thumb. Nothing on earth sharper than the inside of a PC case  Mine's currently having first aid. My first disk drive failure in all these years of crunching. It takes hours to run a full chkdsk these days. My trusty old (and world famous for it's 29.6 UD Points per hour) 3200+ it's a sad day  Good excuse for that 64 Bit Vista based AM2 6000+ though Never did manage to crowbar a Windows Media Centre into the living room.Let us all know when it comes on stream Dave |

----------------------------------------My Trusty Old 3200+ would like to say (on the theme of great quotes) "the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated" Samuel Clemens aka Mark Twain aka Dave Autumns (you will have to search through the forum to get to the bottom of that connundrum) It's back in one piece apart from just 12Kb's in 500GB's luckily Windows has restored a copy of the file that got mashed as a result It turns out that it's the backup disk that had the fault which took out, as a result of causing the system to shut down, that small piece of Harddrive on my Main RAID drive there's a lesson there but I'm not sure what it is  Anyway normal service is resumed and all hopes of a replacement have been dashed Robby I'm relying on you now to report back on what it is like in dual and quad core land Looking Forward to the Stats tonight Dave and his trusty nForce2 Powered 3200+  [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at May 17, 2007 11:23:48 PM] |
