than the inside of a PC case Mine's currently having first aid. My first disk drive failure in all these years of crunching. It takes hours to run a full chkdsk these days. My trusty old (and world famous for it's 29.6 UD Points per hour) 3200+ it's a sad day Good excuse for that 64 Bit Vista based AM2 6000+ though Never did manage to crowbar a Windows Media Centre into the living room.Let us all know when it comes on stream Dave Dave i think you should wait until the first couple service packs for Vista come out--I just got one and put XP Pro on it Dont want anything to do with Vista yet ![]() |

Cheers marysduby for the advise.
----------------------------------------I don't think I'm ever going to get rid of it now. (I'll donate it to the WCG museum when it opens). It's working a treat again without it's backup disk. You can hear the reading arm moving when you pick up the other disk drive. Normally they park up on a "landing pad" on your hard disk but not this one here's the best value motherboard that I ever bought back in December 2002 ![]() ![]() |
