Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

OK, I've read the speal, and it would appear you get one badge for 14 days of CPU time. Well just a small example, and I may have got it all wrong, but our Exalted Edwardian Capitan and I both joined on the same day, according to this thread, and you get one badge for 14 days of CPU time. As far as I am aware, we both only have one machine crunching, and we both keep our machines on 24/7. So how come the discrepancy? I am not saying I am right, just I don't quite get the picture!! confused confused

From what I have read...it's 14 days for each project. So, if you declined to do the African climate thing (like I have), then you don't get a badge for that. So, it's one badge each for all projects that you've crunched 14 days or more.

I have not declined or accepted any projects though - I have just accepted what has come my way confused Not to worry, I'll just keep crunching and accept that I am not, and I guess never will be, anything remotely like a 'techie'! Main thing is being able to crunch and come on here! wink

Ted has one for HCMD but that was only available with UD, so if you were crunching with Boinc that would explain why you didn't get that one. Another thing could be that your machine is not getting certain units because of the requirements like the african climate for example. If you regularly are crunching cancer units you should get that badge in time.
