Did a bit of wanderlusting today tho
drove down to the millennium Stadium in Cardiff for a welcome home parade for the lads regiments return from Iraq .They marched thru the streets of Cardiff and then a Parade in the stadium to remember those that had not returned and issue Medals. due to our delay in starting we misssed the parade through the streets
But I felt it turned out A good day.

Well it would have been better if the car had started at 05.30 am after clearing the Ice from the screen I found the battery had Gorn flat despite it being a new one about two weeks ago
The RAC came and jumped started me but this put me back nearly an Hour made pretty good time but of course morning traffic worked against us along with lack of signs for the stadium when we got to Cardiff Then the final straw was no parking at stadium
along with long tail backs for public car park
very frustrating
any way we made it there and back making better time on the homeward trip apart from 5/10mph for some miles joining the M6 at Birmingham

Great fuel consumption yesterday there and back and still 1/4 of a tank full
