Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Many thanks to all that tweaked the cats whisker and listened
to" Mrs Snaps"
we have just got back from the" smoke "A lnong day but well worth it
we were looked after royally

So much for the weather forcast telling us it was going to be cool and damp
It was rainning when we left Lancaster raining when we got back & had dressed to suit...
Lunnon was warm and the tube too warm.
Us being anxious northeners keen to get to White City and the Tv centre on time we were a little fatigued when we arrived

The Train we traveled down on was full of lap top /cell phone users

I know know that a certain transport firm is going to get 3 new trucks delivered but there is some prob with the tacographs reg plates, tax discs and delivery times .They maybe only purchasing two trucks and renting the third Very worrying

Also that Kylie didnt know where she was going or how to get there (which tube to take) Would Brenda check her diary and the location for her
Had to ring her office to tell Mandy to tell Susan to stick the address labels on the envelopes on her desk
Several people where "on the train" enroute to LONDON.......

Another guy hadnt recieved all the art work that Trevor had promised ????

As I said an interesting day

Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Evening all. Had some annoying modem problems. angry Guess my ISP was not enjoying the fact that I still hadn't switched the old modem for the new one they sent me three months ago. As the old one was still working flawlessly I saw no reason to. They said it should stop working but it was doing fine. devilish However they apparently decided to motivate me by killing my connection every half hour since yesterday. Had to switch the modem power off and on to get it going again, for another half hour. sleep
But now hopefully all resolved by throwing the old one out and installing the new one. peace
