![]() ![]() But i doubt they care. It seems we be the new n people on the block. What I have found is that there is a policy that prevents any real growth by our being here. In fact grid.org contributions are being intentionally played down. Why? (Oh, I forgot, Roger has been a top 10 rated member in daily results for nearly a month and is normally in 4th spot) I know why, just if i say anything to expose this amazing stupidity, i will be marked a pita. Why? Policy. A policy that makes you and I, and for the most part all of us, a frivolous human component best left to a meat grinder. Well, unless its team related, 6’2”, blue eyed, blond or dead. (Did I mention that we did top 50 all-round dailies, again. Oh yea, it seems I did. Sorry.) I say this because if you see what I mean, I don’t want you to think I don’t know. (did I say anything about the 100% team figures we have since chux is back. No? Oh, cool! Well since chux is back crunching, we now show 100% compliance from all team member of daily results return.) That you may want to know is what I am going to do about it. Nothing until they whole affair is quietly swept under the rug. Then I get to turn to ady once again and say: I told you so. Hehe, Go TEAM! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The prob is that the WCG admins seem to think that having a chat room go 200kph is a good thing. What they will find is that at high speed, people that take the time to create a quality chat thread will not want to.
----------------------------------------I try to explain, but I find that there is a policy the supports limiting forum expansion. This mean I really cant post much in this forum as a whole, just here. The problem in the end though, is that by the time they actually do anything about expanding, it will be after much damage that anything will be done. But because the damage will reduce the need for change, any actual change will be marginal. Thus, they are allowing the loss of what could be a good 1000 machines over the next 3 months, just because of a policy that restricts volunteerism, to control their lobby liability. ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by courine at Jun 16, 2007 12:50:51 AM] |

Ah, good then. See, Im looking at a prob that few see but if they did, it would prevent a decline in machine count caused by a corrective recession due to the new flux in forum activity.
----------------------------------------This really means nothing to us really. In fact it helps us in a weird way. So no cause for alarm. The reason why I am wrinting here at all is to excuse myself from much forum posting, and to really only post here for a while. If you are posting only here, then you wont care that the main chat is so crouded, that making any reasonable post there sort of worthless. So if you see this also as a problem, realize im on the job, not taking a break. Right now, what I have constructed is a post that is somewhat complex. Its the one that this thread title points to, "Crosby Stills Nash & Courine "Open Up" World Tour". This post is designed to bring awareness to a problem they dont see, or dont care to see. For if they actually got what the post sings of, they would go "oh my god! what have we done? and for so long!". Anyway, Keep up the good work! You a shining example of the badge you wear. <salute> ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hi everyone, and thank you for your kind welcomes!
![]() Just discovered all your welcome posts on the forum this morning or would've replied sooner! I can't contribute much to the team with my old PII processor desktop, but today I'm going to hook up the laptop and improve my efforts a bit. It's old, too, but every little bit helps! Anyways, just wanted to says thanks and hi! Rebecca |
