Re: grid.org are pulling the plug.

I had been crunching with grid.org for about 5 years and had racked up almost 4.5 years of computing time. I am happy to be joining the WCG team. I have heard a lot of good things about this effort and hope that I can contribute for a long time. cool

I had been crunching for just over 3 years of computer time. I just got here a few days ago, hopefully we'll see more of the old UD crowd join up.

Re: grid.org are pulling the plug.

I'm recent grid.org member with 11 years of CPU time. It's seem to restart all over again.
This is my first day and I'm feel nubie here. tongue

We all had some initial anxiety. I had moved here from the Grorg while the water was still spiralling so it wasn't as traumatic. The forum software takes some getting used to and needs an upgrade, but you'll be treated like a person rather than a cybernetic abortion.

Take your time, lurk and soon it will feel like home.
