The Prohibition of Taking the Jews, Christians and Enemies of Islam as Friends Allah forbids His believing servants from having Jews and Christians as friends, because they are the enemies of Islam and its people, may Allah curse them. Allah then states that they are friends of each other and He gives a warning threat to those who do this, From Chips link Ibn Kathir |

And unto Us [God] shall you be returned" If you wish to have a proper understading of a verse, then do not dispair. Places like Ibn Kathir Commentary on Quran is <mouse here> sound reading. Remember, each verse of the Quran has a well known situation in which it was brought, and the scope of application of the verse is regulated accordingly. Muslim obeyance of God depends on passing the test of proper knowledge as in the verse above. Quran 38:29 "[Here is] a Book which We have sent down unto thee, full of blessings, that they may mediate on its Signs, and that men of understanding may receive admonition." Although the Quran is light and rythmic on the tongue, the meaning and depth is great.  May God grant us patience and a heart to forthrightly ponder. May God Grant us all Good Deeds May God Grant the WCG as a Good Deed for the participants All Praise and Thanksgiving belong to God |

Quran-7:54: Your guardian-Lord is Allah who created the heavens and earth in Six Days Quran-25:29: He Who created the heavens and earth and all that is between, in Six Days -------------------------------------------------------------------- Quran-41:9 : Is it that ye deny Him who created the earth in Two Days ? Quran- 41:10: He set on the (earth) Mountains standing firm high above it, and bestowed blessing on the earth, and measured therein all things to give them nourishment in due proportion, in FOUR DAYS… Quran-41:12: So He completed them (heavens) as seven firmaments in Two days and … Now do the math: 2(for earth) + 4(for nourishment) + 2 (for heavens) = 8 days; and not 6 days ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Recite in the name of your Lord who created ! He created man from that which clings.Recite; and thy Lord is most bountiful,he who taught by the pen, taught man what he knew not. As I stated before, discussion of religion can take place in the forum.
Transgressions to the forum rules have been made by both sides of this smoldering flame war. I am locking this thread and ask that if claychipsmith wishes to start a new one, he refrain from posting anything that could be interpreted as going against the forum rules. Also, if you find something offensive in the forums, or something that violates the forum rules, please use the Report Forum Post link rather than hijacking a thread or posting something that others might find offensive. Those support emails go to me, but I haven't seen any in quite a while. |
