Runing as a deamon on a distant server?

without X11, monitor, then no graphic lib...

./run_manager
./boincmgr: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open \
shared object file: No such file or directory

Is it possible to launch "boinc" via an SSH session then exit?

Re: Runing as a deamon on a distant server?

Run plain, command line, core client boinc

ldd ./boinc
linux-gate.so.1 => (0xffffe000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0xb7f9f000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0xb7e71000)
libstdc++.so.6 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 (0xb7d8d000)
libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0xb7d67000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0xb7d4e000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb7fd1000)
libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0xb7d42000)

To manage use boinc_cmd or boinc_curses (google.com).

Regards, D_T_G.
