I have had the WCG Client running for a couple days now, but for some reason it never finishes a protein, every time I check it it is below 15% but always different, like one time it will be 10%, then 2%, then back up near 11% then drop back down. It also isnt counting anytihng in my profile, anybody know whats causing this or how to fix it?

It is hard to tell what is going on from your description. I have not experienced this myself. I was wondering what the specs of your computer are and what is going on with it. For example if your computer is fairly slow and you are rebooting it fairly frequently, it is possible that everything is working correctly just that there is not enough progress being made for checkpoints to be made (wherein it can restart from the checkpoint and not have to restart from the beginning). On the other hand, it could be just a bad install. I have seen people discuss this and a re-install fixed it. Anyway, someone with experience at this will hopefully come along soon and provide a more substantial answer.

Two main possibilities:
1) Spurious signals due to faulty hardware causing program crashes. 2) Something went wrong during the install, so the program crashes. You should definitely try a uninstall / reinstall. Lawrence |

Well I know its not from me restarting, because my computer has been running for almost 5 days. I have just uninstalled/reinstalled it, I will post tomorrow whether this fixes it
