Maybe when in the Projects tab and with WCG selected, you accidentally hit the Don't Fetch more Work button on the left. Else, please work thru the 'Issue?' link below and provide additional information.

Can you check in your device profile what the 'connect to' schedule is. My Grid > Device Manager > Device Profiles > Whatever Profile you currently use (Default, Work, School, Home)
----------------------------------------<<Connect to network about every 2.5 days>> If a deadline is e.g. 9 days and the connect to is set to 10 days, BOINC will think that you will not be returning work in time, thus not send any with a shorter than 10 day deadline. You got a SIMAP which is a periodic project with i think a 10 day deadline..... coincidence maybe. The buffer logic with 5.8.x is that generally no more than about 3 days worth of work is given in advance. With 2.5 days i've found to always have about > 2 days worth in queue.

After you hit the "Update" button in the projects tab whilst WCG is selected, it should copy the setting to BOINC. Than, check in the message log that an entry is made to say that the preferences used is 'default'.
----------------------------------------With 0.3 days in your profile we will most likely not have identified the problem. Very probably you need to do a project reset. Try WCG first if there is no job in progress or you have none at all.

Hi stompdagger1,
havent got any new tasks yet You just downloaded new work units for FAAH, HPF2, GC etc. So what does Boinc Manager say on the TASKS tab? Lawrence |

The .png. gif etc are the dressing / pretty picture parts that show for WCG in the Simplified GUI. The important part is as per Lawrence's query, if work units have shown up in the Tasks tab of BOINC.
----------------------------------------If so, please confirm so we can put the case to bed. Than, please edit your Opening Post (hit little pencil left of title and insert [CLOSED], so readers know that the case was successfully concluded. cheers
