To use your video card, take a look at Folding@Home ( http://folding.stanford.edu/FAQ-ATI.html ). If you just want to use 2 cores on your CPU, download BOINC for Windows.

For transfer visit this page: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/view...do?platformPick=boinc_win It will be followed by instructions. U need to remove the shortcut link from the Auto-Startup menu to stop UD agent from relaunching on the next boot. Your video card is only used for the display of the graphics. Only F@H uses the GPU for very specialised calculations, whilst still using a substantial part of the CPU. Added: See that lawrence already provided link to F@H.

Hi leifeinar,
Please use just one member name. BOINC keeps track of all your different computers automatically. Lawrence |

You can indeed. Just remember that this will use more memory. But BOINC can take memory into account, now - and WCG's biggest memory hog project is finishing.
Someone out there is running BOINC on TWELVE cores.... |
