I've been trying to connect to WCG for the last 2 days and I keep getting this error:

Can you tell us a little more? What version are you using? Is your firewall blocking the connection?

It's version 5.4.11 and I have ports 80 and 443 opened.

I've killed boinc client process, deleted all related files and reattached to the project. Now I don't get this error anymore, I get
No disk space (YOU must free 3688.1 MB before BOINC gets space) ...which is odd since I have 50+GB of free space. |

I've increased disk usage limit in my device profile from 4GB to 10GB and I'm crunching now.

Having the space and allowing BOINC to use that space are separate things. Go to the device profile on the website and give it about 5gb to use. Also the VM must be allowed to grow to at least 2gb.

Please - do not use 5.4.11 on Linux, upgrade to 5.8.15, we will all benefit from this. Believe me or read the forum :P
