Thread: no letters in the wcg boxes after the installation |

i have installed wcg with UD.exe 12 times on windows xp SP2 systems and it working on the half of them. all systems are in the same network with the same server, firewall,proxy and so on and i alwasy used the same user to install. and i tried reinstallation.
but on a few systems the ud.exe start (mentioned in the task ) but nothing happens and there is only a windows popup coming without any letters or somthing else only "grid agent" in the top bar and a red X in the main frame. |

Please go thru the 'Issue?' Q&A linked below, but on first read it is like you have graphics issues / not met certain system requirements. On the 'problem' machines, is there besides ud.exe also a UD_xxxxxxx.exe and WCGxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.exe process visible in the taskmanager? Is the WCG system tray icon there to indicate that theagent was loaded?
