I'm adding the client to a new computer running Windows Vista Home Premium. The download and install went fine. When it asked me to register I switch to "already a member" and entered my member name and password. It then says it is sending the registration information to the server, but it can never reach the server. I have checked/compared proxy settings with my other computers, I have checked Macafee and World Community Grid has full access incoming and outgoing, I have no problem connecting anywhere else on the internet. Any ideas?

Try 2 options:
----------------------------------------1. Reinstall to a directory outside the \program files\ directory structure 2. Start UD.exe in Compatibility mode (this was a solution for a Kaspersky user on WinXP) cheers

I have reinstalled to c:\WorldCommunityGrid and it still doesn't work. How to I run the agent in compatibility mode?
