How is the chronology of programs ?

Hi,

im participating since 1 day and in the device profile i market FightAids and Fight against Cancer. My question is: which program has more priority ? Is the client always searching for work for FightAids first and when there is none it looks for Fight against Cancer with my settings ?

Re: How is the chronology of programs ?

The mix is controlled based on work availability and other factors like urgency of batch completion (closing a batch frees up lots of disk space). FightAIDS@home (FA@H) and Help Defeat Cancer (HDC) in one profile seems presently to distribute at a mix of 1:1, but it has also been at times 9:1.

Effectively, there can be only a preference for a single project with a backup option, if you run BOINC. Then it would be e.g. FAAH and if that would run out, anything else available.
