Having a nightmare here...for no apparent reason I got half my normal results yesterday and the mid-day(ish) results show only a fifth of the normal. All my boxes seem to be working OK but the messaging page shows almost nothing reporting as completed. Going to keep a close eye on things and see what's not happening. I am not a helpful soul here, I hardly keep my pc running and have no knowledge when it comes to BOINC settings. have you tried to include more projects i.e. to get more WUs loaded  |

Yes I have. Signed up for everything queuing 5 days of work at a time. Don't see any reason for the glitch, just have to put it down to gremlins.

Well I weakened and went shopping. I now have a new base unit sitting in a box waiting for the weekend till I find a Round Tuit (and a DVI monitor cable- which wasn't supplied
 ) to allow me to set it up.q6600 processor and 3Gb of ram should help me to send in a few more results, particularly when running in 64 bit mode under ubuntu. Might have to leave it on 24/7 over the weekend to burn it in.  |

Good man, we over this side of the pond have a reputation to live down as those over the other side of the pond think we take the summer off. Got a spare DVI cable (amongst my excessive spares) if you struggle to find one. Working hard to sign people up to the team to boost the ratings, would dearly love to get us into the top 100 on all rankings.
My recent problems seem to be linked to FAAH modules which are dragging on to 45+ hours even on my 2.4GHz Quad core so there is a real issue there, have dropped them off the list for now. |

hey widdershins, I passed you with my stats 3 months ago with my mac book and my Pentium M780 :) I now switched the Pentium M for a Q6600 as well some 3 weeks ago - this cpu runs like a charm, I run it under Win XP 32 bit.
----------------------------------------it will be intresting to see if Ubuntu 64 bit will bring more results or less - maybe you could post your results if you leave it on 24 hours. I run rice only as it brings the most points per hour. skipped faah and dddt too, I just wanted those badges  and I dont care about hpf2 either. Once rice is over ( next year ) I will go to cancer only as I did before. |
