Re: Up load error Today

This problem has been resolved - we apologize for the troubles.

As lawrencehardin indicated we have two servers that handle the web traffic. One of them has been having some issues with the filesystem. We have stopped routing traffic to the server that is having troubles and all traffic is now flowing to the server that is operating correctly.

Re: Up load error Today

Flipped the powerswitch this morning on the machines and coming out of hibernation took network out of suspend and uploaded GC, FA@H and HDC successfully.

Someone up here posed the 'These server problems are happening too frequently now are are getting very old. What's up?' question. Well WCG/IBM run the project on heavily modded PC-XT's with DOS 2.01 in a rack arrangement of about 3,000 to cope and with that, they still manage a sliding uptime period according this Independent Project Status Report of > 99 percent whilst major modifications and upgrades are underway to get to a NASA solid state equivalent level of AT's with Windows 1.0.

But seriously, I'm lauding the skills of the technical staff in this extensive upgrade/capacity upscale period managing not 1 but 5 live projects on 4 and more to be added platforms and 6 more projects in the pipeline for 2007! applause
