I adjusted my CPU percentage to 90% in my setting. After I did an update, I checked activity monitor and saw my cpu's work still pegged at 100 %. I just wanted to tone down a little on the cpu instead of running at max speed. Is this the way to do this? Did I set my settings right? Or does it take a few days before I see the effect?

Bearcat, please visit some other posts on how the BOINC throttle works..... 90% means running 100% for 9 seconds, pause for 1 second. I refrain of posting an opinion on that this time around, but to say: I'll stick with what i have!
