I recently reset my days to connect from 1 to 4 days. I do get alot of wu's which is what I wanted. But when I look at my mac to check on things, I have a message stating boinc needs to connect to the internet. This has done this 2 days in a row. Do I still need to connect to the internet every day even though my settings is at 4 days? I have not upgraded to the newest version yet.

BOINC will more or less insist on sending work back x-time before the due date. If it asks you to connect as you seemingly have configured it, just say no and it will be postponed to the next scheduled contact.
----------------------------------------As eluded today in another post and some older screenshot in a v 5.8.5 post, a future BOINC will allow a time to be programmed for the 7 days of the week, so with a 4 days task buffer, set it to Monday and Thursday. ![]()

Cool. Thanks. Now if they could include a feature to turn my airport on and off at a specific time. Thanks again.
