With thousands of machines working at different speeds. i was just querious as to why there are days where alot more results were retuned compared with others?

I think it's because of the wu's are shorter on some days then on others. This is because it's not or hard to predict how long a WU will take. When you have lots of short wu's on a day, they will almost all return on the same day so you have kind of a peak!

The 'Total Running Time' chart on the Global Statistics History page show a decrease in running time on the weekends. Prehaps many people only run this while at work.

The 'Total Running Time' chart on the Global Statistics History page show a decrease in running time on the weekends. Prehaps many people only run this while at work. That's a little bit true. But there are some really peak moments where the number of returned results is realy bigger then the day before without an increase of the amount of points credited and the total run time. |
