G'day,
----------------------------------------I'm Mike, one of the BOINC@AUSTRALIA Team Recruitment Officers and we get a lot of question from team members who would like to crunch WCG but they find the web site a bit BOINC unfriendly, the pages not the people  .So what I'm looking for is a link I can post on our team fora every time a member asks how to attach to WCG and some really simple instructions.  I joined so long ago, I don't recall the exact steps and now I just add the URL to any new PC's with BOINC.Oh, and an idea on how I can get my tinyurl img to work inside the hyper link in my signature below. The sign up process is much improved, and BOINC users can just skip the download step and jump straight to the attach instructions. You can try it yourself: if you are signed in, then it will just skip the registration step. Sorry, the forum doesn't support images in hyperlinks. |

Good news is that amongst the little tweaks and fixes, the selection of platform (OS) has been moved up during the enrolment process: * Added support for pre-selecting a platform on the registration page (use: ?platform=boinc_win to get BOINC, mac for Mac, and linux for Linux) *
