How to run different machines with different projects ?

Hello,

Maybe this is answered somewhere but I could not find an answer.

How do I setup the device profiles to run on different machines subsets of the applications.
e.g.

Machine 1: should hold work for 3 days an run on all projects
Machine 2: should hold work for 0.5 days and run only on 1 selected project.

How do I need to set this up.

Thanks in advance

Re: How to run different machines with different projects ?

Hi Sigfried,

For BOiNC there are 4 profiles, Default and 3 more u can create which have the names Home, Work, School. With those u can play the best fitting schedule / project-profiles to which each machine must be assigned.

For UD agent, u can create as many device profiles as u like and name them machine a, b ,c whatever.

Here's the place to start setting them up: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/viewProfiles.do

cheers
