Move work to another machine?

Well, I've had a cruncher go belly up on me. I have a backup of the boinc directory, is there a way to copy this back to the machine after it's repaired (and reimaged)?

All I really want to get back is all the completed but unreported work.

Thanks!

Re: Move work to another machine?

I believe the answer is yes, just copy the directory back to the machine. This comes up periodically here. One past instance is in http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=5827

Re: Move work to another machine?

Yes, if you copy the entire BOINC folder back, it should pick up where you left off.

There are a few things that can go wrong, but nothing fatal.
