My PC has started running Fiocruz. Has worked 23 hours and is showing 0% completed. Any known reasons?

Can you tell as any more?
So far as I can recall, no issues that could cause this have been reported recently. That just leaves a problem with your computer. Can you tell us what it is doing? Giving your device ID will also be a help. |

Any known reasons? Security programs can sometimes interfere, What firewall, ant-virus and anti-spyware programs are you running? When you bring up Task Manager (right click on bottom of screen and select Task Manager), which process is running the most (has the highest percentage CPU utilization) ? Lawrence |

I have two devices running. One (Grits) which the original question was about now seems to be running. There was a message that there was some kind of problem between the PC and server. I scanned for virus-- none found -- but now it is running. Showing 28% complete with a run time of 2 hr. 5 min. The second device (IBM 0AB0215AB2E) seems to be running but not completing task. It is showing 45 hours run time with 0% completed on the task.

Task manager shows "wcgrid_fcg_ssear" running at 98%. It appears to be running the task, just not getting a result.

If you go into the graphics, you should see a version number next to Genome Comparison. What do you see here?

version is V1.0.0.7 As of this morning the data is: run time 65 hours % completion is still 0. The Grits device is running "fight aids@home V 4.0.3.6 which is running OK.

Fear you are running still with a problem version... the latest is 1.0.0.8. Please go to the taskmanager and terminate the wcgrid_fcg_ssear.exe process. Your UD agent should get a fresh workunit and new software to run it automatically, but please verify the number again once done against those listed below: Post Viktors:[Nov 20, 2006 4:39:18 PM] UD config mishap We had inadvertently set the UD server configuration back to older settings so were sending some work out using older versions of the project code. This has been corrected and agents should recover automatically. If you look at the graphics window, the Genome Comparison version should be 1.0.0.8, Help Defeat Cancer should be version 1.0.0.9, Fight Aids is 4.0.3.6, and Human Proteome Folding 2 is version 5.1.1.0. Sorry for any inconvenience and disruption.
