I was worried about the ammount of cpu throttle, so I followed the instructions and set it way down at 26%. Now, I am no longer worried and want it to go back up to 100%. But no matter how many times I delete the user variable, or put it at 100%, or reinstall the entire program it is stuck at 26%. How to I change it back?

You can download the WCGridMaxCPU.exe throttle control from http://worldcommunitygrid.org/files/WCGridMaxCPU.exe The instructions are at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=2683#61655 Use it to set the throttle where you want it to be. Lawrence |

Hi,
----------------------------------------If u have used the throttle tool once, it will override the environment variable set by hand. U either need to go into the windows registry key and delete it manually (daunting and ill advised), or download the throttle tool and use it again to bring it back up. The throttle is real time i.e. no need to shut down UD... guess there will be a slight time delay. cheers Edit: Lawrence managed to beat me ... he's closer to the forum server ;>)
