Hello apeacezalt,
1. I've got several computer both Windows and Linux . Do I have to register several account for each computer? No, when you install on a new computer, just check the 'Previous member' box, then sign in using your existing member name and password. All your computers will be located in My Grid under your member name. 2. I install and run on one Linux OS as Background Process (not daemon) and I Check for CPU Usage with 'top' command, It shown process named 'wcg_faah_autodo' use CPU up to 99% -- Does it mean BOINC is running? Yes. wcg_faah _*** is the Fight AIDS @ Home autodock program. wcg_hpf2_*** is the HPF2 program. wcg_fcg1_*** is the Genome Comparison program. I think that the HDC program is wcgrid_hdc****. If it begins with wcg it is probably a World Community Grid program. 3. My Computer install Linux without GUI (X-Windows system) which command I can use to check for result? To check your results, go to My Grid - Device Manager - Results Status. Clicking on the work unit name will show you the status of all the other copies of that work unit. The status definitions are: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=6105 BOINC writes messages in the stdoutdae.txt file in the BOINC directory. This file lists your computer Device ID each time you start running BOINC. You will need to report the Device ID anytime you report an error. I do not know all the command line options for running BOINC on Linux without a GUI interface, but they are listed in the BOINC wiki at http://boinc-wiki.ath.cx/index.php?title=Main_Page Hope this helps you. Please ask any questions that occur to you. Lawrence |
