Hi Jan,
when I use the backend file definition and press the "file" button just beneath filename field, the popup shows me the option to search my local drive and upload somthing, and in the upper half, it shows me the directories under the root directory.
Now I want to define a file for download which is already uploaded and somewhere in the filestructure, but unfortunately I can not change the directory in the file-popup.
On click, nothing happens.
Any permission problems, or the configuration?
Do you know this?

Hi, you can upload files to only one main folder, this folder you can change in settings of Phoca Download.

Re: Changing directories in file management
Hi Jan,
i don't want to have users uploading files into different directories.
I've uploaded many files via FTP and put them into different directories. Now I'd like to make them available for download. I can enter different directories directly into the "filename" field (Admin-Interface, Files, New), but I'm not able to select a file from the directories via the file browser. Is that correct and an intended behaviour? If so, it's ok for me and i can cope with this.
Thx

Hi, yes it can work if you will do it manually, but the browser has security limits, it means, you can only browse the folder where all files should belong to.
(folder which is selected in settings).
