Guest Download Name and Email

Hi Jan,
I have installed Phoca Download in my website for the past six months and found no problem at all. Thank you for the superb neat job.

Currently all my documents are set for 'public' and are not 'registered'. Meaning that Guest can download without firsts registering or open an account with my website.

My question is how do I make Guest download to leave behind or enter their names (or user names) and email addresses just before download? A simple popup window will do to record guest download. I always found this type of download in many Joomla! sites but I cannot find this feature in Phoca Download.

Hi, you can set the file for registered only (and display it for public - see the items in file edit). If user will click on the file, and he/she is not logged it, he/she will be redirected to login page to login.

Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like I have no choice for the moment. It is either I opt to create a new category for registered user to download documents from my site.

But I certainly need a small survey (name and email form) before guest download. Eric, you can send the beta test to me as mentioned in my other reply to you.

Jan, I hope this small feature be included in the future Phoca Download version update. Thanks.
