Category Level Pagination

I'm sorry to bring this up again, as I've been reading innumerable problems about pagination elsewhere in the Forum.

My web site is running Joomla 3.6.5 and Phoca Gallery 4.3.4 which I believe are all the latest.

I get ordering and pagination at the Categories level but beyond that it disappears and no combination of settings will enable it at Category and Sub-category levels. I've looked at your Joomla 3 demo site and notice that none of the Category levels there display pagination either!

On my web site, the menu item specifies the Categories level and all Ordering parameters are set to "Display".

In the Phocagallery options, I've had to specify the Pagination Default value as "0" (at Category and Categories levels) to force "All" images to be displayed, as one member has installed 115 images. The pagination is still displayed at Categories level.

I don't know if any settings in Articles Options has an effect on Pagination, but I have Pagination also set there.

In addition, when you get to the Category level the "Breadcrumbs" become incorrect and I've had to insert the "Back" arrows.

I see the problem (I think).

The strange thing is that I'm testing Joomla 3.7.0 Beta 1 on my PC under XAMPP, and what I was expecting about pagination between Categories, Category and Sub-category actual works! So, I've been through comparing all the parameters between the test and live systems and setting the live to the test, but the live still doesn't work as the test.

I shall just have to set it to show everything!
