thumbnails are missing

Hi,
I have done upgrade from joomla 2.5 to joomla 3 and also to phocagallery 4.1
Now in the gallery some thumbnails are missing (and at each visit other thumbnails are missing, but the original images are there)
In the control panel of phocagallery (/images) also all thumbnails are present.
Do anybody have an idea how this is possible?

Hi, when the thumbnails are displayed in admin, this means, they all exist, can I see the site where this occurs? Are all images public and authorized, are the categories accessible?

Yes, all images are public and authorized and all the categories are accessible.
Reloading the page always other thumbnails are missing.

Hi, I see, try to reinstall the Phoca Gallery, but for now I really cannot say why some images are not loaded, Phoca Gallery checks if the thumbnail is stored on the server and if yes, it will display it - and seems like sometimes it does not get info from server but why? Really no idea

Hi,
I've the same problem: Joomla 3.3 and latest version of Phoca Gallery; every time one of the category pages are loaded (or re-loaded) there are one or more thumbnails missing.
The thumbnails files are all ok in the directories.
I don't think it's a server problem, because I've the same problem on localhost and in remote site.
Now my configuration is:
- Pagination Thumbnail Generation NO
- Clean Thumbnails NO
- Enable Thumbnails Generation YES
- Crop Thumbnails ONLY LARGE THUMBNAILS
- Additional Thumbnails NO
- JPEG Quality 50
...
- Folder Permissions 755
- JFile Thumbnail Creation YES

But I've tried a lot of combination...

I've solved! Thanks to one other thread in this forum.
The problem was in this option: "Different thumbnail height": when I set to NO, the problem disappear

The problem was in this option: "Different thumbnail height": when I set to NO, the problem disappear. This is why I wanted to kind of join the club because they are all the same and they looked familiar. They did it because they already knew me.
I hope this can be helpful for other users (and for debugging)

I'm facing a similar issue. How did you solve this problem? Different thumbnail height is already set to no for mine. was there something else that you changed besides that one? thanks for sharing this post.

sorry, but the change of "Different thumbnail height" had worked for me, nothing else
Have you tried to rebuild the thumbnails after you've changed this option?
