Responsive Detail view

Post by LennartMart »

I'm at the moment configuring Phoca Gallery for Joomla! 3. My template is responsive, so I want the detail views responsive too.

Something like this is great: fancyapps.com/fancybox/#examples (click on a photo and resize your browser, you'll see what I mean :) )
Since something like this isn't available in the options : is it easy to add another JS library?

Or, is it possible to create a detail view like that with the current libraries available in Phoca?
Thanks!

Hi, try to see the popup methods, I think, e.g. Highlide JS resizes the detail windows by the screen.

Hi Jan, Highslide JS is what I'm looking for!
Still one problem: The detail views for Picasa albums are too big (http://staging.bclandegem.be/index.php/ ... nsdag-14-4), but for FB albums it's allrigt (http://staging.bclandegem.be/index.php/ ... sbos-lieve).
Is this a setting somewhere? Can't find it. Thanks!

Hi, unfortunatelly, there is no way to change it, the thumbnails are comming from external server and are not saved on website, so using external images you are dependent on their sizes :-( :-(

Hi Jan,

I searched for a solution, because I don't believe in impossible :wink:
I found this in the Highslide JS API Reference: http://highslide.com/ref/hs.maxWidth

So I added at libraries/renderdetailWindow (@line 464, in function renderHighslideJS):

Code: Select all

$tag .= ' hs.maxWidth = 720; hs.maxHeight = 720; ';
That seems to work well :|
