Are there any plans to incorporate the more granular permission functionality of Joomla 2.5 in future versions of Phoca Gallery?

Hi, not sure what you exactly mean?

there are access rights for groups (detailed for each user - because mostly, there are user galleries, not groups galleries) the same with upload rights - such rights are not in Joomla! but they are important for uploading images, etc. so not everything can be implemented as Joomla! rights

I putting together a site for a non-profit, and there are several sub-groups under their umbrella, and several people need access to each gallery, thus my inquiry. Yes I realize the built in Joomla media folders don't include such functionality either, but that would be nice too.
