I have installed the download component and plugin (and the plugin to get the "insert a link" button in the article composer page).
I can happily add files, and I have two files in my store (http://slroc2.co.uk/index.php/official- ... membership) just now......
What I want to do now is link to them from an article - which is what I believe the main plugin should do.... except its not: http://slroc2.co.uk/index.php/club/membership
(For information: I'm using Joomla 1.7, with the T3 environment installed, in a known good hosting environment)
Can you confirm that the "membership" page has the right "code" for the download plugin to see, and that the Phoca Download plugin should run in a Joomla 1.7 environment?
If so, do you have any suggestions what I can try?
Many thanks!

Re: Links to files using the Dowload Plugin & joomla 1.7
Hi, I can confirm the plugin code works for 1.7. If the membership site is a content (article) then you should check if the plugin is enabled and correctly installed. If not (not an article), just see:

Re: Links to files using the Dowload Plugin & joomla 1.7
Thanks Jan..... I can confirm the plugin was enabled, and that the document that I'm wanting to have the download links in is and Article.
I have just uninstalled & reinstalled the plugin (still V1.3.6) - still the same symptoms.
The Download Plugin has no parameters that I could see
I will send details of an account to access the system, and would appreciate if you could point out where I've got it wrong....
thanks....
Ian

Hi, plugin 1.3.6 is made for 1.5 not for 1.7
