Automatic Preview

I have a user who uploads PDF files from the Joomla frontend but I then have to login through the backend to set the same file name for each individual file to allow the preview icon to be shown.

Is it possible anywhere to populate the preview file field so in effect I have automatic previews???

Hi, for now there is no such feature, so this needs to be customized - e.g. while uploading, if this is a pdf document, add is as preview too.

Hey Jan,

Well you got exactly what I would like to see happen... perhaps you could add it to a wish list for future upgrades or maybe I'm the only person out these who would find this functionality of use.

Am no PHP programmer but might just have a look at the code and see if I can make head or tail of it, perhaps I can find a simple solution.

Thanks for some great components though... not a Joomla website without Phoca for me, thumbs up.
