Unable to upload backend

Post by clarachua »

Hi,

I've recently upgraded from v1.3.7 to 1.3.8. Unfortunately, I now cannot upload any files on the backend - when I click on the browse files, nothing happens. Oddly enough, I can still upload files on the front end. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the component. Also, I'm unable to upload more than 1 file at a time. I've checked all the flash upload settings (they are set to on). What do I need to do to get the backend working again?

This is all done on offline (localhost) before I upload the changes to my web host provider.

Thanks so much!

BTW, would love it if when we upload a new file, it would post automatically as a new post on the front page! :)

Hi, check your flash plugin in your PC, uploading flash is possible with version 9 (search more info about this in forum)

Do you get some error while single file upload(did you try to enable debug mode and php error reporting - https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... rs-on-site )?

Hi Jan,

Thank you very much for that. It was the flash uploader problem - I disabled flash uploading for now as I did not want to roll back to Flash 9.

Encountered another problem of not finding the Download pages, but resolved that by resetting the page type. :)

Just want to say thank you for the great extension and module!

Cheers,
Clara
