Image size variable

Hi, I would like to use on my site phoca gallery to manage the images.
I'm doing the tests on the site offline to understand how it works.
I can not understand if it is possible to have different image formats in addition to the three (small, medium, large) set in the general options. Why would I need some gallery with images of different sizes (3600x3284 or 2400x1590 or 1200x795) and also different sizes of thumbnails. This is possible with pocha?

Perhaps, because some user like to have different categories with different image sizes. Perhaps images of paintings...
If you don't need this feature, don't use it.

Maybe I explained wrong .....
I want pictures of different size
But in phoca I can only choose one size for large thumbnails
while I would like to have three or four different sizes for large thumbnails.
It's possible to have different size of large (or small or medium) thumbnails?

Yes, If you load up images one by one, you can change the size for every single thumbnail. But if you use different sizes of medium or small thumbnails in one category, I think you will get problems with box sizes in category view and categories view. But I'm not sure, I never tried this.. With large thumbnails, I think it should be possible.

In reality I do not need a picture to be different from another inside the same category.
Let me give an example.
category animals large thumbnails 3600x3284
category cars 2400x1590 large thumbnails
etc etc
All images in the category animals will be 3600x3284, while those of category cars 2400x1590 .....
Different sizes but not inside of each category

Hi, size can be different when you change the settings before thumbnail creating, in fact you can set the size in options, create one thumbnail, then set the size again and create another thumbnail, etc. But it is always good to have the same sizes for one view (e.g. category) so the thumbnails are the same and aligned.
