Ordering Select Box (Category View) not working

Hi there, I hope someone can help!

I am using Joomla! 2.5.18 and Phoca Gallery version 3.2.1.

One of my menu items is set to display 'List of Images (Category View)'.

The issue is to do with the dropdown 'Display Ordering Select Box (Category View)' at the bottom of this page. The box displays as it should (it's set to 'Display' at Menu Item > Basic Settings > Display Ordering Select Box (Category View)), but the problem is selecting the different options available on the dropdown list has no effect on the order of the image galleries. For example, the 'Title Ascending' option displays the list in the same order as the 'Title Descending' option (and all the other options, too).

As a side note: the ordering select box dropdown options on the image galleries pages all work fine. It just seems to be the category view page that doesn't.

Is it just a setting that I've missed?

I'm baffled by this so any advice would be gratefully received!

Hi, hmm,

try to check the cache settings and javascript errors on your site (check if on your site there is no javascript error e.g. which can somehow prevent from changing the value - https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... -conflicts
