Migration from Joomgallery to Phocagallery

Post by Dragon.81 »

Hi all,
i have a problem with this migration.
I have made a little program (C#) that transform the dump from JG (joomgallery) into SQL for PG (phoca gallery).

After the execution of the sql, if i go to the backend (section "images" of PG) i don't view the thumb and the images correctly but only a message:
Column "Image" : Enlarge Image
Column "Filename": File is stored in Picasa Album

Files and path are correct (the same as images uploaded with "new" into PG).

Anyone have a solution?

Sorry for my bad english.

Hi, if the file is stored on Picasa server, there is no filename on server, so the row is called: "File is stored in Picasa Album"

Anyway, you can set the jqeg quality for thumbnails, so you can reduce its size (but this is really not what can slowdown performance)

Hi Dragon 81

I have to do a similar migration from Joomgallery to Phocagallery.
Would it be possible to get a copy of your migration script and a short description of how to use it?

It would really help me a lot.

Thanks.
