Offset image in thumbnail view

Hi. I´m new to Joomla and Phoca, but am enjoying the challenge so far - and thanks for the great extension. I have two problems I can´t figure out how to resolve:

1. In thumbnail view (I guess this is "Category View"), a "white card" background in displayed for each image, with the image on top. The image is clearly supposed to be centred on the card, but on my page, all the images are offset to the right and overlap the right-hand edge of the card. I've checked the docs and the forum, and also tried in several browsers - all with the same result. What am I doing wrong..?

2. In slideshow view, I have the image description appear with a lighbox effect. How can I control the delay before the text disappears?

Did you check this behavior for testing with an Joomla! standard template like beez_20 is?

Thanks - no, I´m using a Joomla Bamboo template (Max Biz2). I will try to test with a standard one tomorrow, and let you know the results.
