Backend Navigation does not work as expected

I try to explain the problem:

I have created two folders in phocadownload containing subfolders and files like this:

1_quality_manual_and_support_documentation
file1_in_1.doc
file2_in_1.doc
1.1. Quality Manual
file1_in_1.1.doc
1_2_certificate
file1_in_1.2.doc
file & 2_in_1.2.doc
2. QMS Governance & Process Documentation

When I try "multiple upload" files the backend looks like backend_1.jpg.
A) Clicking on 1_quality_manual_and_support_documentation I'm directed into this directory.
B) Clicking on 2. QMS Governance & Process Documentation nothing happens at all.

I know the problem: doing B) the folder contains special characters like &.
Clicking on a subfolders containing such characters (also the dot sign (.)) will not work, this redirects to the parent directory instead to this subdirectory. (see backen_2.jpg).

How can I realize Phocadownload to work with special characters in folder names ? I need this because our folder structure has business requirements like this.

Also if the foldername contains blanks it will not work.
Does nobody have any idea ?

Hi, yes, "bad" characters and spaces should be removes, see similar guide for Phoca Gallery: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ing-images (there are different conflicts on different places - server, script, ... for such folder names )
