How can I chose specific categories per link?

Hello there,

Let`s consider this example: I have 3 different categories published in my gallery and I have two links in my webpage. When I clicked on the first link, I`d like to show the categories 1 and 2. And when I clicked on the second link, I`d like to show just categorie 3.

Is it possible?

Because:
If I use Phoca Gallery All categories, then it shows ALL categories published.
If I use Phoca Gallery Category, then it shows just ONE categorie and without gallery organization.

Waiting suggestions.

In the menulink (with view categories) you can specify the categories which you want to hide.

Jan and I were posting at the same time...

I started doubting myself ('cause he's a Hero and I'm only a member ), checked out at my own website, and it is possible to hide categories. So I suggest you make 2 menu links and in the first you hide your 3rd category and in the second link you hide the categories 1 and 2.

It's a workaround, but should do, so I thought. (or isn't this what you want?)

Great caro84g. I forgot that the parameter: hide categories is contained in component too, so this solution will work

This suggestion makes sense, but it did not work here...

How should I type the name of categorie in the box "Hide Categories"?

Should I make an extra configuration to "Hide Categories" works? Like change any variable that it is setted as "use global" by default.

I feel we are close to solve this issue...

We must type the categoryid number and if we want to hide more than one categorie, we must separate them using ;.

Hey Jan, I advice to insert this mini configuration in the Tooltip of "Hide Categories".
