auto adding images/thumb nail creation?

is there a way to have it auto add images and create thumbnails every time i upload something new to my image category?

Hi, in admin, this works as default, after adding image, thumbnails are automatically created, but this does not work for upload - because Phoca Gallery does have independent database and filesystem layer (see more in this forum)

whoops I'm talking about when i upload files via ftp..
