Ever since I updated to Joomla 2.5 I've had the following issue. I've been watching the updates but it has not been resolved, so I took some screen caps to make the developers aware of this issue. I hope these grabs will help identify this bug.
I loved being able to display inaccessible categories because it would only show the thumbnail and if a browser clicked the thumbnail it would redirect them to login. It offered viewers a thumbnail tease while keeping the fullsize photos safe for only the registered users.
The other thing I noticed is the space under the thumbnail. In the options I have 'Display Image Description in Box" and a Box Height. I'm not sure if I am understanding this correctly but I have selected no but the space under the thumbnail still exisits.
If anyone out there has experienced the same issue or has a solution please let me know. Thanks!!!

This is how it use to look when a browser viewed the site before they logged in. They just could access the photos in the category. Now I can only get it to look this way when a user is logged in.

Re: Display Inaccessible Categories
Hi, there are a lot of parameters in Phoca Gallery and setting one can deactivate the second - if you will set that the categories will be not accessible, the displaying image from the category ad folder icon is not working - this is the feature, not display an image from the category - even it is a "category" folder.
