Cant get file to download directly

I want the file to download straight away but instead it brings up section / download.

I have checked the box in the file settings for "Direct Download". This is the code i am using:

{phocadownload view=file|id=1}​​​

What am I doing wrong here?

I upgraded the website to Joomla 1.7 and using the same settings using the updated version, it worked fine and the pdf downloaded straight away.

However the rest of the website had big problems so I had to revert back. And now its not working again.

Here is a screen shot of what I see when I click on the download:

Hmm, testing here, no problem (click on direct file download):
