Major problem after update

I made a small mistake with big consequences: I hit "install" in stead of "update" while updating my Phocadownload component. Seems that this erases all information in the database (without warning!). I checked and the files are still stored on the server, but with no information in the database I have a big problem. I also discovered that the latest backup is from months ago and therefore of no use.

Could someone please point me to a solution?

Sorry, there is no solution, because the button "Install" clean the database...
