Upload enabled only in subcategories

Hello, I'm new(very new) in Joomla and Phoca.
I installed Phoca today and it seems to be perfect for what I need, but I have a question.
I want to upload files only in subcategories, like:

Folders
|Folder1
|Folder2

I want users to be able to upload files only in Folder1 and Folder2, but if I disable uploading to Folders I can't see the subcategories when I'm uploading a file. The only way to do it is enabling the parent directory Folders, but I don't want it.
Is there a way to do what I want?

Hi, search this forum for more information, Phoca has independent database and filesystem layer, so you can assign upload rights to categories not folders.

Yes, I used Phoca categories. I created two, the parent called Folders and the child called Folder1.
I gave upload right to Folder1 to "All registered users", but to Folders I set "Nobody" on upload rights.
Doing that, I should be able to upload to Folder1, but I'm not. The only way I can upload a file do Folder1 is giving upload right to Folders
Am I doing it right??

Hi, I see now, this is related to latest changes - the tree in select box.
