Upload file size issues

Post by Fedro999 »

Hello,

I have installed this great component, and everything works in downloading and when uploading files smaller than 5 Mb.

However when I try to upload files that are bigger than 5 Mb, after 5-10 minutes of thinking about it, the page stopps and it is as if nothing happened and there is no uploaded file. There isn't any kind of error message.

I have adjusted the max size on the options that is now at 190ish Mb, and as far as I know the server limitations should be a lot more than 5 Mb.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Fedro.

P.s. I tired to upload several sizes and below 6MB I get the following error message:

JFile: :read: Unable to open file:
Warning: Failed to move file!
Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: Filename cannot be empty in /home/gunghoga/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 268

Hi, try to check settings on your server, if you are able to upload such large files on your server.
