Link to File Problem

Also, I use the component to show all file in a caterogy (for archive) but again, the url provided for each file leads to another page where you can finally download the file. I would be great to save a click. Is there any way we could call a file directly?

Do you have disabled the "Display File View" option?

Maybe try to disable all other extensions you have installed yourself (e.g. Oziogallery, PCE, ...)
to see if any of them is causing the problem. If it is working then activate the extensions one by one
to find out which one is causing the problem.

I upgrade to the 2.0.0 version and I have installed the Button Plug-in 2 (Joomla 1.6) ... but it still not working ... The plug-in button appears at the bottom of my article, it creates automatically something like

{phocadownload view=file|id=7|text=Catalogo Biblioteca|target=b}

but on the web page the button doesn't appear ... only
"{phocadownload view=file|id=7|text=Catalogo Biblioteca|target=b}" ....

Do you know if there is some incompatibility with Jumi plug-in? Jumi is working on my website and I have no problem using it
...

Hi, first, congratulations for your work.
Sorry, but i have the same problem with this extension: In my new web with joomla 1.6, i installed the component phoca download v2.0.0 and the plugin “plg_editors-xtd_phocadownload_v2.0.0” and activated it.
When I click in the phoca download file button, select a file and insert the code, it appears the text {phocadownload view=file|id=1|target=s}, not the link.
¿can you help me, please?

I found I had to also install "plg_content_phocadownload_v2.0.1" and enable it in the Joomla Plugin Manager. This plugin reads the code {phocadownload view=file|id=1|target=s} and converts it into the link (with a nifty little icon, too).

Without the plugin, Joomla doesn't know to translate the bracketed code into a link. I was able to download the additional content plugin from the normal download part of the Phoca site.
