[Solved] No Basic Params shown [Joomla1.6.3/PD2.0rc3]

Hi,

as discribed in the subject i can't see the basic parameters when i want to add a menu entry for the file upload.
So an user isn't able to upload a file this way.
I'm running Joomla 1.6.3 with Phoca Download 2.0rc3.
Have anyone an idea?
All Phoca files are present but it seems that the list would not be filled, so nothing is displayed.
Here is the output for the basic params:

I've tried to reproduce it with a clean Joomla 1.6.3 installation and a clean Phoca Download 2.0rc3 installation and i can't see the basic parameters there too.

And i found a problem in my self-made theme too (which is fixed now)! So this problem has also a positiv aspect for me! ^^

I am relative new to Joomla Coding so I have not the overview yet!

Hi, Joomla! works in MVC pattern, every view has own settings, and if there is a menu link to such view, you can set the parameters in this view. But be aware, if you go from categories view to category view, it allways get the settings from categories view (the itemid in Joomla! - see: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... -in-joomla)

So if you want to change the parameters for categories view e.g., see:
components\com_phocagallery\views\categories\tmpl\default.xml

There you can add the parameters.

Ok, I see there are no parameters for the user upload!
You should not include a default.xml when there are no options to set!
Then the basic parameters box is not showing up and I do not think there is a problem to solve
because the box do not showing anything!
So my "problem" is solved!
